HS Football Player Mike Oppong Suspended For Kneeling Like Kaepernick During Anthem
Quarterback Mike Oppong of Doherty Memorial High School wanted to support Colin Kaepernick and the stance he is taking by kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem during a recent game.
His school and coach decided to suspend him for his actions soon after.

Then Mike took to Twitter to give his thoughts about the situation:
I have 100% respect for the veterans and the people who lost their lives on 9/11, this whole thing isn’t about them
