Cigar Lounge in Houston Uses Colin Kaepernick’s Jersey as Doormat
The Man Cave Cigar Lounge in League City, Texas, went viral earlier this week on social media, not because of what it offers to customers, but for what they have displayed outside the business.
At the entrance of The Man Cave, the owner of the business took it upon himself to duct-tape San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick’s jersey to the ground right outside the front door, in response to his national anthem protest.
Customers have been using the Kaepernick jersey as a doormat ever since he installed it and the owner doesn’t have any plans of moving it anytime soon.
“Everybody who walked in would kind of wipe their feet on it,” Denny said.
“We don’t plan on taking it up any time soon,” Denny said.
