After Loss to Cowboys, Josh Norman Selected For Postgame Drug Test
One year after winning the NFC East, the Washington Redskins have dug themselves into a hole following their latest loss to the hated division rival Dallas Cowboys, dropping them to 0-2 on the year.
After the game, cornerback Josh Norman was reportedly extremely upset that he was selected by the league to take a random drug test.
According to Michael Phillips of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Norman was heard screaming in the locker room, and called the mandate “stupid.”
“I don’t like how the NFL has us drug test right after the game,” Norman said of the rule, which he told reporters was new. “I don’t understand that. It’s crazy. I don’t have anything left in the tank, yet they want you to drug test. It’s crazy. I don’t understand it.”
“What’s a day going to do? 24 hours? It’s stupid.”
Josh Norman finished the game with four tackles and a forced fumble.
