Report: After 0-2 Start, Redskins Locker Room Turning On QB Kirk Cousins
After losing to the hated division rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the Washington Redskins have started the season 0-2 and they do not ‘like that’. According to reports, the Washington Redskins locker room is starting to turn their backs on quarterback Kirk Cousins, who just can’t seem to get it together.
While Cousins went 28-46 for 364 yards and one touchdown in the game, he had a critical red zone interception that pissed many on the team off.
According to PFT, most of the players are asking for Colt McCoy to start now.
“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, multiple offensive players have begun to complain about quarterback Kirk Cousins, pointing to a lack of decisiveness, erratic play, and confusion.
I asked the source whether the players who are griping would prefer Colt McCoy. Said the source, “At least he’d play with poise.”
The last time the Redskins locker room stopped playing for a QB, the offensive line was hanging RGIII out to dry.
