New York Giants Players Considering Anthem Protest After Terence Crutcher Shooting
Marshawn Lynch Shows Support For Colin Kaepernick on ‘Conan’ (Video)
Former Seattle Seahawks and now retired running back Marshawn Lynch wanted us to know that he supports everything San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is doing, including his decision to take a knee during the playing of the national anthem to call attention to the country’s racial injustices.
In wake of the recent police-involved shooting of an African American man named Terence Crutcher, Lynch went on “Conan” Tuesday night to give his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick.
“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered, my take on it is s—, they got to start somewhere.”
“I just hope people open up their eyes and see that there’s really a problem going on and something needs to be done for it to stop, if you’re really not racist, then you won’t see what he’s doing as a threat to America.”
