Last week, while poking fun at the unusually close relationship between the New England Patriots’ Tom Brady and Julian Edelman, Boston radio hosts Toucher and Rich of 98.5 The Sports Hub got a very interesting call from a guy who identified himself as Matt from San Diego.

What was so interesting about Matt from San Diego? It wasn’t the fact that he defended Brady and Edelman; or the fact that he referred to Brady, Bill Bellichick, and Gronk at GOATs; or even that he referred to Tom Brady’s wife Gisele Bundchen.

Have a listen:

As listeners soon started pointing out to Toucher and Rich, “Matt from San Diego” was totally Tom Brady. The guy sounded exactly like him, and he was obviously experienced at speaking on the radio.

Here’s a clip of Brady talking for comparison:

On Monday Brady went on Jim Gray’s radio show and denied calling in to Toucher and Rich.

“No, there’s none of me,” Brady insisted. “Like I said, you’re the only one I’m talking to.”

Of course, if you actually believe that, you probably also think Brady had nothing to do with those deflated footballs.
