Watch: Ezekiel Elliott Blows Away the Competition in High School Hurdles (Video)
Those who were watching the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys may have been in awe after seeing Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott hurdle his way to a first down early in the fourth quarter.
Take a look:
Well, we’re here to inform you that this was not Elliott’s first rodeo…Not by a long shot.
During his high school days, Elliott was an elite hurdler, winning the 110-meter hurdles at the Missouri Class 3 state championships in a time of 13.77 seconds. It was just one of four state championships that Elliott won within the span of 2 ½ hour at the meet back in 2013 (also winning the 100- and 200-meter dash as well as the 300-meter hurdles).
His 110-meter hurdles victory? It wasn’t even close:
Perhaps teams may want to start studying Elliott’s high school track-and-field tapes before taking on the Cowboys in the future.
