Rex Ryan on Upcoming Game Against Patriots: “I don’t care who plays quarterback” (Video)
One win under his belt and Rex Ryan is already going after the Patriots.
On Sunday the Bills beat the Cardinals 33-18 to improve to 1-2 on the 2016 season. Immediately after the game, their coach was already thinking about next week’s game against arch nemesis Bill Belichick. Specifically, he was thinking about the Patriots’ quarterback situation, which was further complicated this week by news that third-stringer Jacoby Brissett suffered a sprained thumb against the Texans.
“Look, I can sit back and say I don’t care who plays quarterback because I know Brady ain’t,” Ryan told reporters. “I don’t care who plays quarterback. Steve Grogan can play quarterback. If Belichick’s playing quarterback we’re coming after him.”

For you youngsters out there, Steve Grogan was the New England Patriots’ starting quarterback from 1975 to 1990. At 63 years old, he is one year younger than Bill Belichick.
That Rex Ryan is a funny guy.
Of course, he’s also right. Jacoby Brissett, Jimmy Garoppolo, Julian Edelman—it doesn’t matter who plays quarterback for the Patriots next week. The Bills are not going to win, and Brady is going to rub it in Rex’s face.
