This is probably why Yahoo got hacked in the first place.

Just a few hours after it was announced on Sunday that Miami Marlins’ 24-year-old star pitcher, Jose Fernandez, was one of 3 people who tragically died in a boating accident in Miami Beach, people started to get alerts from Yahoo.

Not the alert that would state that Jose Fernandez just passed away, but an alert that he was starting on Monday and he went from healthy to day-to-day after the Miami Marlins gave him some time to rest.

Clearly, it was a mistake, but it was a hell of a mistake.
