Odell Beckham Jr.: “I’m Not Having Fun Anymore”

by: Black Adam Schefter On  Wednesday, October 5, 2016

Long gone are the days of different sports sites posting that spectacular one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys that put him in the spotlight. Nowadays, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is known more for his constant temper tantrums on the field while producing less and less over the past few games.

After throwing yet another tantrum against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, a game where he only caught 3 passes for 23 yards, Odell says he’s not having fun playing football anymore.

“Football is my sanctuary,” Beckham told Marks. “It’s where I go to escape. It’s where I’m most happy. I’m not having fun anymore.”

“What I’m communicating, we’re not doing,” he said. “I’m not getting the opportunities to contribute, and that’s frustrating to me.”
