Soccer Star Fakes Injury to Avoid Being Arrested For Unpaid Child Support (Video)

It does not matter what country you’re from and what sport you’re a star in, the facts remain the same: Strap up if you don’t want to pay any child support for an unwanted kid that you didn’t intend to make.

Enner Valencia, a striker for Everton in the Premier League, tried and succeeded with his own personal Houdini act when police officers were on hand to arrest him for not paying $17,000 in back child support.

Via BSO:

“Valencia was met by police along with the lawyer representing the mother of his child after a morning training session, hoping to arrest Valencia and force him to pay. However, several officers refused to detain him even after stopping the team bus looking to look for him.”

 

During the match against Chile, Valencia faked an injury so he could leave without being arrested yet again, and it worked. Below is a video of police officers chasing him while he’s being driven off on a golf cart, complete with oxygen mask and all:
