Dallas Cowboys v Buffalo Bills

While Greg Hardy has shown he had a number of characteristics similar to those of MMA fighters, the news that he’s preparing for his first fight still comes as a bit of a surprise to those familiar with the disgraced NFL linebacker.

According to this article from MMA Fighting, he’s been training for a few months now. He says, in a prepared statement “I’m very focused and excited to start my MMA career. I’m going to do this the right way, I can assure you of that.”

Since being cut by the Cowboys, Greg Hardy hasn’t managed to find a new team and was arrested last month for possession of cocaine. So it should be no surprise that he’s looking for a fresh start. According to his fighting team, he weighs 285 pounds and will compete as a heavyweight.
