Clevelanders Will Have to Choose Between Game 1 of the World Series and the Cavs’ Ring Ceremony
It’s a good time to be a Cleveland fan. The Indians find themselves in their first World Series since 1997, the Cavs are set to get their rings on opening night and the Browns…well, two out of three ain’t bad.
The Indians’ return to the Series and the Cavs’ ring ceremony will happen to fall on the same night, which has resulted in the Cavs tickets falling as we approach the date of both events, October 25th. Of course, this is a good problem for a city to have, and it’s not like the baseball scheduling committee can take into account another city’s teams when scheduling the dates of its championship.
