LeBron and the Cavs Watched the Indians Win the ALCS in a Cleveland Bar with Regular Clevelanders (Video)
King James really is a man of the people.
On Tuesday the Cleveland Indians defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 3-0 in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series to book their first trip to the Fall Classic since 1997. Hometown hero LeBron James, who ended the Cleveland sports curse back in June by leading the Cavaliers to the NBA title, was watching the game at a downtown bar with some of his teammates and a bunch of regular people.
Bron and teammates J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson hit up a joint called TownHall Wednesday afternoon. He had the Samsung rolling when the final out was recorded and everyone at the bar erupted in celebration.
Well, everyone except Tristan Thompson. He is from Toronto, and apparently not even winning a championship in Cleveland was going to make him root against his hometown Blue Jays. Take a look:
Did you catch a glimpse of Thompson as LeBron panned the camera? Poor guy was not happy.
You gotta respect him for sticking by the hometown team, though. Now Drake won’t have to disown him.
