Report: Eddie Lacy is Fat Again & Needs Surgery on His Foot
Despite all his efforts this past offseason to shed the pounds he put on last year, Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is back to his 2015 weight, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Lacy definitely has returned to the 2015 frame when team sources say he was anywhere from 255 to 265 pounds.”
Packers coach Mike McCarthy has been very outspoken about his RB’s weight as he stated Lacy wouldn’t see the field unless he lost that weight. This may be a situation where Lacy has converted his fat to muscle, because on a recent snapchat photo, he doesn’t look fat at all.
It doesn’t matter now, because on Thursday it was announced that Lacy will require surgery to repair an ankle injury and will be placed on injured reserve.
RB Eddie Lacy needs foot surgery and Packers will place him on IR today, per source.

Being placed on IR means Lacy will have to miss at least eight weeks.
