San Diego State Hockey Team Will Honor ‘Harambe’ During Home Game Friday

If you didn’t already know that Harambe the Gorilla is a National Treasure, well, now you know.

Many teams and athletes around the country have dedicated their season or game to the fallen Gorilla, Harambe, who was shot earlier this year in a Cincinnati Zoo when a child fell into its enclosure.

The San Diego State hockey team is just the latest to jump on the bandwagon, as they plan on honoring the Gorilla during Friday’s home game against Arizona State University.

Alabama’s hockey team wasn’t too pleased when they found out about this.  They pointed out on Twitter that they were the first to do the ‘Sticks out for Harambe,’ and now everybody’s doing it.
