The last time UFC star Conor McGregor went back and forth with retired boxer Floyd Mayweather, he ended up getting choked out by Nate Diaz at UFC 196.

Fast forward to November, and Conor has since gotten his revenge on Diaz.  He also just knocked out Eddie Alvarez to become the first person in UFC history to have two belts at the same time.

Recently, Mayweather was speaking with TMZ and didn’t appreciate people comparing the both of them, as he claims he’s on a different level than McGregor, stating the following:

“I think that it’s time for – Conor McGregor needs to go out there and do what he do,” said Mayweather. “But never compare Conor McGregor to me. That’s a total disrespect. Once again, I’m an elephant. Elephant don’t beef with ants. Elephant is so large he don’t even see ants.”

“I didn’t know Conor McGregor was undefeated,” said Mayweather. “I didn’t know that he had a reign in MMA for 20 years undefeated and was world champion in five different weight classes. That’s something I didn’t know. So I guess you guys are telling me something new if you say he’s the Floyd Mayweather of MMA.

“I’m trying to find out, ‘have you ever made $300 million in one night? Have you ever made $100 million in one night? Have you ever made $70 million in one night?’ … It’s okay to say it, but it’s not true.”

Tuesday night at a New York City nightclub, McGregor hijacked a mic from the DJ booth to challenge Mayweather to a $100 million fight.

“Tell Floyd and Showtime, I’m coming,” said McGregor. “Tell them to run out to the Showtime offices. I want $100 million cash to fight him under boxing rules because he’s afraid of a real fight.”

“Floyd’s not ready for this,” said McGregor. “Much respect for Floyd, he’s a solid businessman. What he has been able to do, he is a f—ing animal at what he’s been able to do. But as far as real fighting, as far as true, pure, unarmed combat, Floyd don’t want none of this.”
