The crew at Mtn Dew has always had mad love for the game of basketball. Recently, to show its appreciation to fans and get them fired up for the new season, the Dew team partnered up with the NBA to erect massive, 40-foot high basketball installations that showered bright green light on three different cities.

In Los Angeles, the #DEWxNBA ball was stationed outside the infamous Dolby Theatre, where it was accompanied by the beautiful Lakers Girls as they signed autographs for fans on hand. In Miami, fans of the Heat got to hang with the team’s lovely cheerleaders as well (even mascot Burnie showed up)—and in Cleveland, the home of the reigning kings of the league, the city celebrated its very long awaited NBA championship as the DEWxNBA ball lit up the city.

The season is still young, and the NBA and Mtn Dew have a whole slew of other events they’re going to be teaming up on, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for those. When it comes to basketball, the Dew knows that only three things matter: you, your city, and your team. Who knows: maybe this year your crew will be the ones who take home the crown.

You can check out highlights from the #DEWxNBA partnership in the video above.
