Plane Carrying Brazilian Soccer Team Chapecoense Crashes in Colombia, Killing 75 of 81 Passengers
Fox Sports Brazil Aired 90 Minutes of Silence to Honor the Chapecoense Plane Crash Victims (Tweets)
Wednesday night was a rough one for soccer fans, especially those with a fondness for Chapecoense, the team whose plane crashed over the weekend, killing over 70 people. The club was scheduled to play a game last night against Atletico Nacional of Colombia in the Copa Sudamerica Final.
The game didn’t take place for obvious reasons. So, out of respect, Fox Sports Brazil ran 90 minutes of dead air to honor those lost in the tragedy.
