Like many NFL fans, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is not a fan of Thursday Night Football, and he isn’t afraid to throw shots at it either.

The Seahawks are set to square off against the Los Angeles Rams this Thursday at CenturyLink Field and Sherman voiced his displeasure about the mid-week contest.

“Poopfest, it’s terrible. We got home like 1 o’clock in the morning, something like that on Monday, and then you’ve got to play again. Congratulations, NFL, you did it again. But they’ve been doing it all season, so I guess we’re the last ones to get the middle finger,” Sherman said, via ESPN’s Sheil Kapadia.

“It’s hypocritical, as I’ve stated before. They make this huge stance about player safety and then they put the players in tremendous danger,” he said.
