Colts K Adam Vinatieri Cost Himself $500K in Bonus Money After Missed Field Goal
Unlike most kickers in the league this year, Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has been pretty spot on despite his team’s bad record.
On Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Vinatieri may have cost himself $500,000 in bonus money after a missed field goal attempt.
Adam Vinatieri entered the game with an 89.7% success rate on the season. He needed to finish above 90 percent to cash in on his half-a-mil bonus, and one made field-goal would have done the trick. However, he missed a FG attempt, which made it nearly impossible for him to reach his bonus.

Adam Vinatieri missed 48-yard FG, making it nearly impossible to make 90% of his FGs this season and collect $500,000 bonus. No cash homie.
