Former WWE Commentator Says There’s “No Chance” The WWE Signs Ronda Rousey After Embarrassing Loss At UFC 207
MMA star Ronda Rousey made her return to the Octagon at UFC 207 for the first time since Holly Holm knocked her out and made her reevaluate her life choices.
Amanda Nunes landed 27 strikes, 23 to the head of Ronda Rousey during that UFC 207 fight and it was called 48 seconds in as Rousey had no clue where she was or how many punches were coming her way.
As soon as the match was over, everybody assumed Rousey was done with the MMA as she hinted towards retirement and suicide after Holm beat her in 2015. Most assumed she would probably make the transition to WWE, but according to WWE mic-man and current ESPN anchor Jonathan Coachmen, there is 0 chance of that happening now.
Speaking on social media he says “Sorry no chance. You can’t bring in her at any point. Perception matters. That performance mattered.” When a fan challenged him, he responded “Michael listen to me. It will NEVER happen. They are not in the business of bringing in a broken star and rebuilding her.”
If Vince McMahon sees a money opportunity there, he’s gonna pounce on her regardless of her last two MMA matches.
