Big Ben Says The Team Needs to Stay Focused So They Don’t Lose Games ‘Like The Bengals’ (Audio)
For the first time since 2011, the Cincinnati Bengals will not be playing in the playoffs, and a player on an arch rival couldn’t help but throw some shade their way.
While answering questions about his upcoming playoffs matchup against the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger just couldn’t help himself and had to take a shot at the Bengals.
Big Ben was asked about Dolphins controversial defensive star Ndamukong Suh and him potentially trying to do something dirty during the game.
“In terms of the extra stuff, we don’t worry about that. We’re just going to go out and play the football game,” Roethlisberger told CBS Pittsburgh. “You can’t get caught up in it, because if you get caught up in it, you do what the Bengals do and you lose the game.”
The Steelers had some key injuries last year in the playoffs after their game against the Bengals, and it hurt them in their preparation for the following week’s game against the Denver Broncos. Clearly, Big Ben hasn’t forgot about that.
