Brandon Marshall: Playing for Jets Is Like Wearing a Dirty Diaper for a Whole Year (Video)
The New York Jets just completed another awful season.
In hindsight it all started when they spent three months negotiating with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who then proceeded to throw 12 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions with six fumbles for a passer rating of just 69.6. The team, meanwhile, went 5-11, finishing dead last in the AFC East despite a season-ending victory over the Bills.
How bad did things get? Well, according to wide receiver Brandon Marshall, playing for the Jets this season was like wearing a dirty diaper. Seriously.
Marshall stopped by Showtime’s Inside the NFL this week to chat about the season. When they asked him to “put the season in perspective,” he did not hold back.
“First of all, is this 60 Minutes?” Marshall joked? Then he continued, “the best way I can describe is, having a diaper on and never changing it, and just sitting in that diaper the whole year. That’s how our year was.”

Pretty accurate, really. Right now every Jets fan everywhere is like, “now you know how we feel, Brandon.”
