Hip hop legend Ice Cube got tired of seeing the NBA’s best ballers retire and never seeing them again, so he decided to do something about it and create a 3-on-3 league that features those players.

Hall of fame player Allen Iverson is not only going to coach in this league, but he’s going to play as well. Iverson and Cube announced the launch of Big3 on Wednesday morning at a news conference.

“When I got the call, it was a no-brainer,” Iverson said in the official press conference, which the rapper streamed on Facebook Live. “It’s Ice Cube. It’s O’Shea. You don’t turn that down. That’s success looking you right into your eyes. I just wanted to be a part of it and I hope me being a part of it makes it a success like everything that he’s been doing in his life.”

Other NBA stars who have already stated they would be joining include Kenyon Martin, Jermaine O’Neal, Jason Williams, Stephen Jackson, and Rashard Lewis.
