skip bayless says aaron rodgers is not that good

Fox Sports pays Skip Bayless big money for hot takes that piss people off, and on Sunday the guy really earned his paycheck.

After the Packers knocked off the Cowboys in the most thrilling game of the 2017 NFL Playoffs, Bayless got on Twitter and congratulated Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott for outplaying Aaron Rodgers, whom Bayless has long argued is “just not that good.”

Take a look:

Now, Prescott played one hell of a game, going 24-for-38 with 302 yards, three touchdown, one interception, and passer rating of 103.2. You could even argue that, in a way, he outplayed Rodgers, who went 28-for-43 with 356 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a passer rating of 96.7. But Rodgers won the game, and Bayless was obviously trying to piss people off by not giving Rodgers any credit.

As you would expect, Twitter took the bait:

Even Philadelphia 76ers rookie sensation/Twitter genius Joel Embiid felt the need to weigh on:

You’re the best, Skip. Keep up the good work.
