Facebook Signs Antonio Brown to Six-Figure Endorsement Deal
Last week, Antonio Brown took a lot of heat for streaming his team’s locker room celebration on Facebook Live following their Divisional Round victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. He was later labeled as selfish by Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, who could be heard calling the Patriots “a**holes” in the video.
Well, I’m not sure if this latest bit of news makes AB more selfish or less selfish, but it sure as hell explains a lot.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Brown has signed an endorsement deal with Facebook that is believed to be worth somewhere in the “high six-figures.”
It is believed that the deal was in place already when Brown was recording the locker room video. He’s still awaiting punishment from both the league and the team after violating the policies of both organizations. Hopefully his endorsement deal will help cover any fines that are sent his way.
