Tristan Thompson on LeBron Wanting HELP: ‘Play With Whoever the Hell We Got Right Now & Win Some Games’

Cleveland Cavaliers v Atlanta Hawks - Game One

Everybody has had their opinion of Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James voicing his displeasure on the current state of Cleveland’s roster and him needing another play-maker, but no one has gotten any comments from the current players on the squad.

That all changed on Thursday when Tristan Thompson was asked for his thoughts about LeBron wanting help.  And he let loose.

What LeBron said:

“Get me more help. We need more playmakers. We need a backup point guard.”

“I ain’t got no problems with the front office. I told (Griffin) to his face, so it ain’t like I’m telling y’all to put it on record. I see Griff all the time. One thing about me, if I got something to say, I’m going to tell it to your face. We need a f—— playmaker. I’m not saying you can just go find one, like you can go outside and see trees. I didn’t say that.”

What Tristan Thompson said:

“LeBron’s comment is what it is,” Thompson said. “I really don’t give a [expletive]. I just got to keep playing better. We got to keep playing harder. He’s right. We got to all play better. It’s simple. You see the [expletive] out there. We all see it.”

“This is the team we have right now,” Thompson said. “That’s how you got to approach the game. You can’t go out there hoping somebody is coming to walk through the door. Play with whoever the hell we got right now, and let’s win some [expletive] games.”

Come June, this will all be a drop in the bucket as the Cavs are sure to be in the NBA Finals once again.
