Super Bowl Opening Night at Minute Maid Park

It’s crazy how these things seem to happen only when the New England Patriots are involved.

After his Super Bowl media night session wrapped up on Monday, Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator (and reportedly next head coach of the San Francisco 49ers) Kyle Shanahan was stressing out over a very important missing item.

“I’m stressed out right now,” Shanahan said. “Somebody took my bag, and it had everything in it.”

A copy of the Falcons’ Super Bowl playbook, Super Bowl tickets and other personal items went missing at some point during his 45-minute session with reporters in the stands at Minute Maid Park.

Fortunately for him, USA Today writer and ESPN contributor Jarrett Bell discovered that San Francisco Examiner columnist Art Spander had mistakenly picked up Shanahan’s bag instead of his own.
