New England Patriots Media Availability

That is now three Patriots that won’t be making the trip to the White House.

New England Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower is the latest member of the Super Bowl champions to opt out of visiting the White House, but according to him, it has nothing to do with anything political.

On Wednesday’s edition of “SportsCenter,” Hightower stated he won’t be joining his teammates on the trip to the White House and it’s not because Donald Trump is in office.

Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett and safety Devin McCourty have already stated in recent days that they will not be going to the White House to see Trump for various reasons.
