Over the pas week, a total of six New England Patriots have spoken out on their reasons for not attending the White House after winning Super Bowl 51 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Future Hall of Fame TE Tony Gonzalez was recently stopped by TMZ and asked about those players and others who are skipping on the White house.  He believes the entire situation is just ‘silly’ to participate in.

“If they don’t wanna go, that’s their right,” Tony said … “For me, I think that’s silly.”

“If you’ve got a problem, go there and meet him! Say something! That’s your opportunity to get your voice out there, to get heard.”

“Tell him what’s on your mind,” he added … “Maybe he’ll listen.”
