Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has been struggling with his weight since he’s been in the league, but he took a big step last offseason when he began working out with P90X creator Tony Horton.

According to recent reports, Lacy has regressed and he’s been fined by the Packers numerous times because of his weight issues.

“According to Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers coach Mike McCarthy fined Lacy for not making weight over the last couple of seasons. It’s it not known how much the fines were or how often the fines occurred.”

Laci is slated to become a free agent in March if the Green Bay Packers don’t offer him a contract. If they do, it probably won’t be a huge one because he’s coming off foot surgery and was placed on IR back in October.
