Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving made waves on the internet last week when he revealed he was a flat Earth truther. Recently, Irving made a donation towards a young child to fulfill his hoop dreams and see this ‘flat Earth’.
Kyrie donated $6,500 to 8-year-old Jahlil Owusu to help fund his travels for AAU basketball.

The honor roll student started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the travel expenses he’ll incur as a member of the 9U Riverside Hawks, which is based in New York City. Owusu said his parents can’t afford to pay all the fees, and originally set a goal of $2,500.
