After Back-&-Forth Battle, Shaq Says He’ll Never Speak of JaVale McGee Again (Video)
After being the butt of one too many jokes, Warriors big man JaVale McGee was done with Shaq making a fool out of him and spoke out about it. What followed was a back and forth Twitter battle where threats where thrown from Shaq and mothers of both players had to intervene to end it for good.
On Thursday’s edition of ‘Inside The NBA’, Shaq promised to never speak his name ever again. Shaq, Ernie, Kenny, and Charles all gave their opinions on the situation.
“First of all, I never had a thing,” O’Neal said to Ernie Johnson when asked about his apparent feud with the Golden State Warriors big man. “Second of all, we’ve been doing Shaqtin’ a Fool for five years. Everybody is on Shaqtin’ a Fool. It’s one of the funniest shows in the world. You mess up, you’re on it. We do it. We don’t pick on people. We don’t try to ruin people’s careers.
“If I was a player, and I was so worried about being on Shaqtin’ a Fool, I wouldn’t mess up.”
“My mother is someone who I love and respect, and she told me to stop it and don’t bring it up again. So I’m not going to talk about it, ever again. His name (JaVale) won’t ever come out of my mouth ever again,” O’Neal added.
