Knicks’ Derrick Rose on Embracing The Triangle Offense: ‘Sh-t, Do I Have A Choice?’
Barkley Says The Warriors Have ‘Zero Chance’ of Winning Title Without Kevin Durant (Video)
Charles Barkley has never been a fan of the Golden State Warriors and their style of play, so of course he had to speak up on the recent injury to star Kevin Durant.
KD is scheduled to be re-evaluated in 4 weeks after he suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
Being re-evaluated and actually returning to the court are two different things. If Durant fails to get back on the court, “Inside the NBA” analyst Charles Barkley thinks the Warriors have little chance of getting to the Finals for the 3rd straight year.
“Without Kevin Durant, they got zero chance of winning the championship,” Barkley said during Thursday’s telecast. “Actually, with the additions the Cavaliers have made, they probably aren’t the leaders in the clubhouse. But without Kevin Durant, they got no chance of winning the championship. Zero.
“If they don’t have Kevin Durant, I don’t even think they get out of the West. That’s just my personal opinion. I don’t think they can beat the Cavaliers in a seven-game series. But, without Kevin Durant, they don’t even get out of the Western Conference.”
