NBA All-Star Game 2017 - Practice

The NBA is currently in the golden age of triple doubles as it has almost become a nightly occurrence.

On Saturday, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio dropped a stat line of 11-points, 13-rebounds, and 10-assists. That triple-double was the 79th recorded in the NBA in 2016-17, the most in any season in league history.

The majority of them, of course, have come from Oklahoma City Thunder PG Russell Westbrook, who is averaging a triple-double and has a total of 30 all by himself so far this season. He’s not alone, either, as Houston Rockets star James Harden has 15, LeBron James has 7, and both Nikola Jokic and Draymond Green have four apiece.
