Andrew Bogut Made $400K in 58 Seconds Before Breaking His Leg
Last week, Jose Calderon made $415,000 for his 119 minutes as a member of the Golden State Warriors, as he was signed, then released to make way for a bigger need on the team. As unbelievable as that was, it got even more ridiculous this week.
A few days ago, former Dallas Mavericks big man Andrew Bogut committed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He made his debut for the team last night against the Miami Heat.
Not even a full minute into his career with the team, Bogut hobbled to the sideline after he collided with Miami Heat forward Okaro White on a closeout, taking a knee to the shin. Microphones near him heard Bogut state, “I broke it,” and that’s exactly what he did.
In 58 seconds, his season is possibly done and he made an insane amount of money.
