LaVar Ball Responds To Barkley: ‘If You Thought Like Me, You’d Have a Championship’ (Video)
On Monday, Charles Barkley spoke out against LaVar Ball, the father of UCLA phenom Lonzo Ball, and his recent comments about his son being better than two-time MVP Stephen Curry.
“Just because you say some s—, doesn’t make it right,” Barkley told Sean Deveney of The Sporting News. “He’s gonna be better than Steph Curry? That’s what he said. Steph Curry has won a couple MVPs, he’s pretty good.
“Man, let me tell you something. That’s that AAU s—. You can’t say a guy is going to be better than Steph Curry, a guy who has played 30 college games. I know you can be proud of your son, but at some point, it becomes stupidity.”
It took less than 24 hours for LaVar to respond back and he did just that on Tuesday’s edition of ‘The Herd’ on FS1, taking shots at the fact that Barkley had never won a ring during his career.
