REPORT: Patriots, Raiders & Seahawks Not as Interested in Adrian Peterson as He Is In Joining Them
Since being released from the Minnesota Vikings, RB Adrian Peterson has made it abundantly clear that he wants to be in the playoffs with a chance to win a Super Bowl ring. Only one problem: The teams he is interested in joining don’t really share that same interest in signing him.
Even though he was willing to take a major pay cut to join the New England Patriots, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio cited a source with knowledge of the situation, saying the Patriots have not yet discussed Peterson. The source also said it would be safe to assume that the Patriots won’t pursue him.
Peterson also had interest in joining the Oakland Raiders and running behind their dynamic offensive line, but that interest is not necessarily shared by the Raiders.
On #Raiders and Adrian Peterson: Source said interest level is more on his end to join team than theirs.

Strike two. Peterson then turned his sights back to the NFC in hopes of joining the Seattle Seahawks, but once again, the team has no immediate interest in signing the veteran tailback, according to USA TODAY Sports’ Tom Pelissero.
#Seahawks have no immediate interest in Adrian Peterson, I’m told. History shows they’ll revisit sometimes if a guy is sitting out there.
