Not known for talking trash on the court at all whatsoever, Golden State Warriors PG Stephen Curry broke out of his shell last night to talk some trash to Boston Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown.

If the plan was to get in the rookie’s head, he failed miserably. After ending the third quarter with a buzzer-beating three, the two-time MVP started to mouth off, pointing towards Brown and telling him he ‘talks too much’ or he’s ‘all mouth’.

Brown found that situation to be quite amusing as he told reporters after the game.

“I didn’t say nothing to him,” Brown told Jay King of MassLive.com. “He hit a good shot. It was cute. And he just made a good shot. I didn’t say a word. I was just playing defense.”

“I didn’t say a word to him,” Brown said. “I promise I didn’t say a word to him. I was just out there playing D, doing my job. He looked at me and starting doing whatever. But, I mean, they needed that energy to get them going. I’m just glad we got the win tonight.”
The Celtics got the last laugh as Curry recorded zero points and two turnovers in the 4th quarter, and the Celtics went on to win the game, 99-86, while snapping the Warriors’ 56-game streak of scoring 100 points or more at Oracle Arena.
