Small Group of Fans Protests With Pitchforks Outside Redskins Park After GM Fired
Thursday was not a good day for the Washington Redskins fans, as they watched star WR DeSean Jackson bolt in free agency to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and then read reports about QB Kirk Cousins demanding the owner to trade him.
If that wasn’t enough, the team was marred in even more controversy when they later fired their GM Scot McCloughan due to his drinking problem. That decision didn’t sit well with the fans or the media, and most believe this franchise will remain a dysfunctional joke as long as Dan Snyder is the owner.
On Friday, a small group of fans brought pitchforks to Redskins park to protest the firing of GM Scot McCloughan.

One fan told FOX 5 that McCloughan’s firing influenced her to give up her season tickets.
