Report: Redskins Have Turned Down Trade Offers From 3 Teams For Kirk Cousins
The Kirk Cousins saga continues.
At first it was rumored that the Washington Redskins quarterback had demanded a trade out of the nation’s capital, listing the San Francisco 49ers as his preferred destination. Then it was believed that the Cleveland Browns were in pursuit of Cousins’ services.
Now, according to Cleveland.com‘s Mary Kay Cabot, we’re being told that three teams have contacted the Redskins in the past 10 days to inquire about a trade for Kirk Cousins, only to be turned down immediately. And none of those teams are said to be the Browns.
No word yet on who those teams are and what they were offering, but you can expect the Cousins rumors to continue circulating up until the NFL Draft on April 27, and maybe even beyond then.
