Ray Allen Says Steph Curry Is The Best He’s ‘Ever Seen Shoot’ (VIDEO)
Former NBA All-Star Ray Allen was wildly looked at as the best 3-point shooter the league had ever seen, serving as the league’s all-time leader in 3-pointers made (2,973) and attempts (7,429).
Quickly making his way to the top of that list is Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who knocked down a record 402 shots from behind the arc during the 2015-16 campaign. He also leads the league with 254 shots from behind the arc this year.
As a master 3-point specialist, Ray Allen knows a great shooter when he sees one and believes Curry is the best he has ever seen.
“I think right now, from what I’ve seen, it’s easy for me to say that he’s the best that I’ve ever seen shoot,” Allen said during an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” Wednesday morning. “I’ve seen some great shooters.
“I really put him in a category all of his own. The way he plays the game, being a point guard that can handle the way he handles the ball, and the way he can shoot the ball, and the way he shoots it.”
