Michael Jordan was arguably the best dunker during his heyday.  Whether it was in-game or during the dunk contest, he delivered every time. Then another guy came out of North Carolina and tore the league up with his dazzling dunks.

Former Toronto Raptors legend Vince Carter may have only competed in one slam dunk contest, but it was arguably the single most important dunk contest ever as he brought the competition back from the dead. What Carter did during the 2000 All Star Weekend is what the fans needed, as he delivered during each dunk.

On Tuesday, Carter was a guest on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’ and talked about who would win a game of 1-on-1 between him and MJ right now and whether he thinks he would’ve beaten Jordan in a dunk contest if they were both in their primes.

“I like me in the dunk contest,” Carter said. “I can’t step down from that one. Greatest player of all time, though, I give it to Mike.”
