Golden State Warriors v Oklahoma City Thunder - Game Four

During a recent appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry picked James Harden of the Houston Rockets as the leagues MVP, giving him the edge over Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook because of Houston’s superior record.

“I’d probably say James,” Curry told Patrick. “You got to have to reward the better team, I would think, record-wise. That’s just kind of going in the history of the MVP award. So, I think James will probably edge (Westbrook) out just off of that.”

Just hours before the Thunder were to take on the Toronto Raptors, Westbrook was asked about those comments and he refused to concern himself with who other NBA players have chosen as MVP.

“I don’t care. It don’t matter what he say.”

“Who is he?”
