Le’Veon Bell Can’t Take Fan To Prom Because He’s Too Old, Has DUI & Weed on Record
It’s not often a 25-year-old hears that he’s way too old to be doing something, but it happened to Le’Veon Bell.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back was simply trying to honor a bet he made with Wisconsin teen Ava Tarantino—after her tweet got more than 600 retweets, he agreed to accompany her to the prom.
@L_Bell26 500 rts and you’ll go to prom w me

The school district looked into it and promptly banned Bell from going because he’s over 19 and was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana, according to Annysa Johnson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“You can Google Mr. Bell,” spokeswoman Terry Schuster said. “We have to be equitable in the way we treat our students. We don’t even know if this is a real commitment.”
Bell is allowed to take part in all pre-prom festivities, such as photo sessions. Just not the dance itself.
