Free Agent QB Colin Kaepernick Donates $50K to Meals on Wheels; Has Donated $500K of $1M Pledge
Former San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick may have unintentionally ended his career when he opted out of his contract with the 49ers to hit free agency. So far there has been zero interest in his services and it probably has a lot to do with his stance last year, when he refused to stand for the playing of the National Anthem.
While he waits for a call to get another opportunity, he still continues to deliver on his promise of making this world a better place by donating to various charities around the country. This time, he’s giving $50,000 to Meals on Wheels, who might desperately need it if their funding is indeed cut by President Donald Trump.
