Several ESPN Personalities Rip The Network For Giving LaVar Ball a Platform To Speak
Whether you love him or hate him, LaVar Ball has figured out how to use the media to his advantage and push his brand, talk about his sons, and make ridiculous statements. On Thursday’s edition of ‘First Take’, LaVar Ball was a guest and him an Stephen A. Smith basically had a shouting match for an hour and made for great TV.
I avoid First Take at all costs, but Stephen A vs. LaVar Ball was some of the most entertainingly terrible TV ever. pic.twitter.com/McwhRyhbr5

ESPN put out multiple videos including LaVar all day and that rubbed some of their other employees the wrong way. After the show and many clips were put out over the web, many of the other ESPN personalities took to social media complaining about the Network giving Ball a platform to speak.
Begging ALL media, INCLUDING US… KEEP LAVAR BALL OFF THE AIR. Please. America is turning against Lonzo BECAUSE of Lavar. — Dari Nowkhah (@ESPNDari) March 23, 2017

@richarddeitsch not a video. Multiple videos. It’s embarrassing.

Unfortunately for the employees, if LaVar brings in the ratings, then he’ll be back on as many times as they want him to be.
