Mark Cuban Mocks Blake Griffin’s Flop: ‘Condolences – We Sent Flowers To His Family’
It’s been a few days, but Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is still upset over the egregious flop by Blake Griffin against 4-foot-8 (not really) guard J.J. Barea.
After Saturday’s loss to the Toronto Raptors, Mark Cuban spoke to reporters and continued to troll Griffin by mocking him and the way he fell to the ground after taking a shot from a much smaller player.
“I just feel bad for Blake,” Cuban told Dwain Price of the Star-Telegram. “It’s hard to come back from a knockout like that.”
“We sent flowers to his family – condolences. I can only guess that he’s going to be drinking through a straw for a long, long time, so our thoughts and prayers go out to Blake and his family.”
Barea’s shot to Griffin’s neck did indeed receive an ejection, but the Mavericks got the last laugh as they won the game, 97-95.
