Chad Ochocinco Signs On With The Mexican Football League

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson is making his comeback to the field….in Mexico.

Mexico’s Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA) announced that on April 2, Ochocinco will wear the jersey of the Saltillo Dinos.  He’ll be their first ever import player as they travel to Monterrey to play the Monterrey Fundidores.


Ochocinco was drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and played 11 seasons in the NFL for the Bengals, New England Patriots, and the Miami Dolphins.

He also played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2014 to 2015.
